Delete your A-Sim account
You're in control of your data. This page explains exactly how account deletion works at A-Sim, what gets removed, what we have to keep for legal reasons, and how to make the request.
How to delete your account
- 1Send us an email at support@a-sim.io from the email address on your A-Sim account. Use the subject line "Account deletion request".
- 2We'll verify the request by replying to that email address. This is a one-step check — just confirm "Yes, please delete".
- 3Your account is fully deleted within 14 days of confirmation, and we'll send a final email when it's done.
What we delete
- Your A-Sim account (email, name, Google profile picture)
- Saved payment methods and Stripe customer reference
- All eSIM labels, notes, and custom plan nicknames
- Trip planner data and saved searches
- Marketing preferences and email subscriptions
- Login sessions and device tokens
What we keep, and why
A small amount of data is retained because the law (or our payment processor) requires it. None of it is used to contact you or market to you after deletion.
- Payment records and invoices (kept for ~7 years to comply with Canadian tax law)
- Anonymised purchase counts (so we can report on aggregate trends without identifying you)
- Fraud / chargeback logs tied to your email or payment method, where required by our payment processor
Before you delete — a few things to know
- Active eSIMs keep working until their data or validity runs out. Deleting your account does not refund unused data.
- This is irreversible. Once deletion is processed, we cannot restore your eSIMs, labels, or order history.
- If you just want to stop emails, drop us a note — unsubscribing doesn't require deletion.
